We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, and reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience with financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
✔ Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
✔ Assist in financial audits and tax preparations
✔ Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
✔ Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
✔ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support financial planning and budgeting
✔ Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Qualifications & Skills
🔹 Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
🔹 Nice to Have:
- Experience with PeopleSoft, RITE, or Qsoft financial systems
- CPA certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience in a corporate or government accounting environment
