GenAI ML Senior Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned GenAI ML Senior Engineer to lead the development of next-generation AI solutions tailored for the healthcare and Medicare Advantage sectors. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in Vertex AI, RAG architectures, agentic AI frameworks, and advanced LLM customization techniques, along with a deep understanding of CMS and HIPAA compliance. This is a strategic, high-impact role suited for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of innovation, healthcare, and scalable ML deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy scalable GenAI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Vertex AI, BigQuery, and cloud-native tools

• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and agentic AI systems

• Fine-tune and customize large language models (LLMs) such as Gemini, with domain adaptation to healthcare workflows and CMS requirements

• Lead and execute prompt engineering strategies, including LoRA, PEFT, and chain-of-thought prompting

• Experiment with and implement task-driven AI agents capable of interacting with APIs, databases, and clinical systems

• Collaborate with product, data, and clinical teams to align AI solutions with compliance and quality standards

• Mentor junior engineers and guide responsible AI design, documentation, and deployment practices

• Drive Agile sprints, manage technical documentation in Confluence, and track progress in Jira

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning or GenAI, including 2+ years in healthcare-related projects

• Deep experience with RAG architectures, agentic AI frameworks, and LLM customization

• Hands-on with Google Cloud (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions) and modern GenAI platforms

• Proven track record in applying advanced prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques

• Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Strong understanding of CMS regulations, HIPAA, and healthcare data privacy best practices
