We are seeking dedicated and experienced Cooks to join our dietary team in a long-term care facility. As a Cook, you will play a key role in preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences while following all safety and sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and portion meals in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements.

  • Ensure all food is served safely and attractively, complying with regulatory guidelines.

  • Follow specialized meal plans, including texture-modified and therapeutic diets.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.

  • Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff to ensure a positive dining experience.

  • Support meal services for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as assigned.

  • Participate in ongoing sanitation, labeling, and inventory practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous cooking experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of dietary guidelines, food safety, and sanitation regulations.

  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals for a large volume of residents.

  • Strong time management and communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work rotating weekends and assigned shifts.
