Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive financial aid counseling to prospective and current students, helping them understand available options and the application process.
Evaluate and process financial aid applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Develop and present financial aid workshops and informational sessions to groups of students and their families.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial aid policies, regulations, and best practices.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve student issues and ensure a smooth financial aid process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial aid counseling or a related area.
Strong understanding of financial aid regulations and the ability to apply them effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex information.
Proficiency in financial aid software and Microsoft Office Suite.
