We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Case Manager III to join the our state's client department. The incumbent will work on-site with Delaware State Police to provide case management and facilitate treatment enrollment for individuals referred by law enforcement. This role is essential in supporting individuals dealing with substance use and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary behavioral health clinician for the Police Diversion Program.
- Coordinate case management services and ensure seamless treatment enrollment.
- Collaborate closely with Delaware State Police personnel.
- Provide timely crisis intervention and effective case management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and program activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, counseling, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in substance use and mental health counseling.
- Strong background in case management.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with law enforcement agencies.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage crises effectively.
